     Over 27 years experience in EMS. Nursing experience includes ICU, Critical Transport and Emergency. Other Nursing experience includes the role of charge nurse/supervisor. Additionally Michael has presented various medical topics locally, regionally and nationally.
     Other background includes being a Combat Field Medic for the US Marine Corps & US Navy Reserve, and he is the senior tactical medic on the local Sheriff’s Office’s SWAT Team and a Deputy Sheriff in the patrol/enforcement division. 

     Michael is also a co-owner of a continuing education company specializing in terrorism & tactical operations medical support.

 

 

     Jay Initially began his health care career with the military in 1985. Jay served as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy and in the reserves. Currently he is a Registered Nurse in the US Army reserves.       

     Prior experiences include deployment during Operation Enduring Freedom, working as a trauma nurse for a Foward Surgical Team.  Most recently Jay spent time in South West Asia as a combat medic with the Department of State.  Duties included both trauma nursing and flight nurse-paramedic. 
     Jay also has extensive experience in the civilian environment in various ED settings.  Currently Jay is working as the Clinical Manager for an Open-Heart, CCU/ICU and Cardiac Step-Down unit in Delray Beach FL at Delray Medical Center.
